Richmond Disability Employment Project

Richmond AID Disability Employment Project

Website: http://www.richmondaid.org.uk/

The employment project at Richmond AID supports disabled people either seeking work or in employment in Richmond upon Thames.

What services do we provide? The current trend towards moving people from Incapacity Benefit on to Employment Support Allowance means that an increasing number of disabled people will now be looking for employment. The Employment Project provides advice and guidance, supporting local disabled people to gain, or retain employment.

Services we provide for individuals include:

  • Help to access volunteering opportunities.
  • Help to access in-work benefits advice.
  • Cross-referrals without the Support Employment projects across the borough.
  • Job search and CV report.
  • Help to access legal resources and assistance.
  • Monthly jobs bulletin.
  • Access to database of disability-friendly employers in the borough.
